Weddings Heidi Style does your homework when it come to finding helpful tips to make your wedding gown shopping effortless and enjoyable. All of our helpful tips come from numerous website and bridal magazines.

1. Show with just one person - Try not be bring more than one person. You will end up buying a gown to please a crowd instead of buying a gown to please yourself.
2. Only try on a few - Try on only a few gowns. You will become confused if you try on too many.
3. Share any concerns - Share with your sales associate, any concerns you might have with with body; such as weight, size of breasts, hips or waist. 
4. Money - Be specific about your wedding gown budget.
5. Off-hours - Visit the bridal salon during off hours such as during a weekday instead of evening or weekend hours.
6. Agenda - Try not to rely on friends to help you choose your gown. Bridesmaid especial, may have their own agenda. They know that the dress you choose will have a direct bearing on the type of dress they will wear.
7. Deposit - Be prepared to pay a deposit when you order your wedding gown. In most case, this is 50 percent.
8. Delivery - Generally speaking a wedding gown order can take 5 to 7 months to arrive once it has been ordered. 
9. Body Type - Take into consideration your body type when choosing your gown. If a sales associate suggests you try something different, keep an open mind.  
10. Bra - Bring a strapless bra when trying on wedding gowns. It is hard to envision what your dress will look like with red or black bra straps.

Adrienna writes - "I was planning on having a dress made, but I decided to try on a similar to style to what I wanted made to ensure it suited me. It looked awful...the wonderful saleslady helped ease my panic (I had spent three months thinking of what dress I wanted) by bringing a few different ones. They were the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted, but being so disappointed in the other dress I was open to alternatives. I fell in love with one of the ones she brought me, which I would never have tried otherwise! It's the total opposite of what I would have chosen."

Samantha writes - "I didn't cry when I found my dress. I tried on three dresses and fell in love with one. I don' think you have to cry when you see yourself in it. If you really love the dress and your gut feeling tells you this is the one - get it, crying or not. 
Once you find it - you just know"  

Mary Anne writes - "The gown I loved in the magazine did not look right on me. In fact all of the dresses that I chose did not look right on me. The sales girl could see I was getting upset and she asked me if it would be alright if she brought me a dress to try on. The dress she chose, I would have never picked, but my God it was beautiful and I bought 
it that day."

 Jackie writes - "I was planning my wedding in Mexico which was costing us a fortune. Leaving me with a very small budget for my wedding dress. I looked at many dresses they call "destination" but everything was still too expensive. It was only after talking to Heidi that she suggested ordering a bridesmaids dress in ivory. I never would have thought of this. Everyone at the wedding loved my dress and no one knew how little I paid for it. Sometimes it goes to show - that you have to think outside the box."
